Matthew Jon Leone (pronounced: Lee-oh-nee) is the bassist of the group Madina Lake.
Matthew is born on May 6th and he is twins with Nathan, Matthew was firstborn.
Their mother died in a car crash when they were twelve years old.
After pursuing professional soccer careers both in the United States and Italy, they decided to get involved in music. Matthew went to Colombia College in Chicago and Nathan and Matthew went to Butler University in Indiapolis.
Their first band was The Blank Theory formed in 1998. In the early days of The Blank Theory, they also formed an independent label called 4 Alarm Records. The label included The Blank Theory, The Frogs, The Pinehurst Kids, and Monkey Paw.
