Born as a proyect of 4 audio engineering students, REFORMA was born in the Orlando Florida area. REFORMA quickly built a strong and heavy fanbase and took the Orlando scene by surprise.
The band
On drums we have Dan Torelli, a Philadelphia native who is no stranger to electronica. Dan’s solid playing and his ability to lock until death to the click track, make him the perfect drummer for the project. Dan’s motto, “serve the song” has shaped the band from day one.
Mateo is the vocalist, guitarist and programmer. He was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Mateo's combination of heavy and harmonizing vocals give REFORMA the identity it needs, plus the hooks that give the project a pop sensibility.
On bass we find Matt Edgar, a native from West Palm Beach, Florida. Matt’s hardcore influence gives the band a heavier sound onstage. Matt's great skills as a bass player added to his incredible onstage presence make him a key player in the band..
Damon, a New Jersey native is in charge of the electronics onstage. Using his acquired dj skills (he is a former club dj) Damon is responsible for all the loops, keyboards and sequences that REFORMA uses onstage, as well as all the harmonies and background vocals.
Dave Swick, originally from New York, is the latest addition to the REFORMA line up. Dave’s punk rock influence plus his onstage energy give REFORMA the finishing touches to be one of the most exciting bands in the Chicago scene right now.
