Why this tiny one-off free show?
Matt Leone (bass): "We love intimate environments, and throughout our whole career - no matter how big or small we get - we want to keep those opportunities for our friends and fans to get as close to us as possible."
What is it about the UK that keeps you coming back?
Matt: "The UK is by far our favourite place in the world. Truly. You guys embraced us before anyone else did, and ever since the first tour where we opened for Paramore, it has felt magical, and every time since then has felt even better. We have made so many good friends out there - we now have more UK phone numbers in our phones than American ones! It's crazy!"
What's it like to be in Madina Lake right now?
Matt: "It's fantastic! We've just had four days off, which is the most we've had off since christmas. We have been having barbeques with friends and spent time with our families. It sucks though, because when you are on the road, you party every night, and then when you get home, everyone wants to party with you. You never really get any rest! Now we can't wait to get back out."
What are yuor expectations for the September UK tour?
Matt: "It should be great. The difference with this tour is that we are finally headlining, so we can play more of the album, which is a great opportunity. We loved the shorter sets we did with Paramore, but now we're going to able to give a little more because we have no parameters."[/b]
